Barriers to the Women’s Participation in Politics: A ComparativeStudy of Districts Kech and Khuzdar, Balochistan

Abstract

The study is from a feminist perspective, with a qualitative case study approach, explores several
barriers that limit women's participation in politics in Districts Kech and Khuzdar, Balochistan.
An in-depth qualitative research approach was used with thematic analysis to identify women's
obstacles in said districts. Primary data was collected from 30 respondents, 15 from each district,
using semi-structured interviews. The study emphasizes the importance of identifying and
removing these barriers to promote gender equality and increase women's political participation.
The research article also guides decision-makers, women's organizations and activists working to
improve women's political participation in Districts Kech and Khuzdar
